| Originally modeled in 1937 by a combination of modelers, this M.I. Hummel Holy Child figurine depicts a religious figure looking down at the crown held in his outstretched hand. He wears a white gown covered by a pink robe. It has been restyled in later years with newer models having a textured finish on the gown and robe. This handcrafted Hummel figurine comes direct from the world's only authorized producer of Hummel designs. Every piece is back-stamped by Goebel and carries the M.I. Hummel signature. In addition, a Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each. M.I. Hummel products are the result of a successful partnership between W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik (German for porcelain factory) and the talented German artist, Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. Her paintings of youthful innocence have been transformed by the master artists of the Goebel factory into three-dimensional works of art.
