Hummel Love's Bounty Figurine (96 Century) |
|
| |
| This figurine, titled 'Love's Bounty' (the 11th in the Century Collection), depicts a young boy and girl bearing gifts and flowers. Released in the US market in 1996, this piece has an incised 1993 copyright date combination 'First Issue 1996' and '125th Anniversary Goebel' circular back stamp. Its inscription reads: 'MI Hummel Century Collection 1996 XX', and comes with an oval wood base with anniversary information on the bottom and a brass plate inscribed: 1871 to 1996--125 W Goebel Porzellanfabrik. This handcrafted Hummel figurine comes direct from the world's only authorized producer of Hummel designs. Every piece is back-stamped by Goebel and carries the M.I. Hummel signature. In addition, a Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each. M.I. Hummel products are the result of a successful partnership between W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik (German for porcelain factory) and the talented German artist, Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. Her paintings of youthful innocence have been transformed by the master artists of the Goebel factory into three-dimensional works of art. Every new Hummel figurine is created using a painstaking process involving over 700 hand operations with many quality checkpoints. Don't let this one pass you by! |
